OYUGIS INTEGRATED PROJECT

  Today Shirikisho Crafts celebrated its second graduation ceremony. The ceremony was held at oyugis integrated project facility. The graduands bright attires added vibrance to the occasion. Fr. Patric started the occasion with Holy mass where he encouraged the candidates to work hard for the Glory of God, he also encouraged OIP fraternity and CMM brothers to continue doing the works of mercy. The second phase of the occasion was entertainment. The candidates had a great time entertaining the guests by saying poem, and performing folk songs. Guests had to get involved in the dancing, not just watch. The candidates were well dressed in their tradition attires to perform the dance. The climax of the event was issuing of certificates. WORLD TUBERCULOSIS (TB) DAY World TB day is a day commemorated annually on March 24th.  It has different themes for every year and the event is usually marked to celebrate the gains made in management of TB over the years and also to plan for the way forward on what needs to be done to end TB. This year Theme is; Yes, We Can End TB. Homa-bay County marked the day on 22nd March at Kasipul Sub-County in Nyang’iela chief’s camp. The event was marked by speeches from County MOH Officials including the County TB coordinator, Screening of TB, HIV testing services, cervical cancer screen services, blood donation and edutainment and testimonies from clients cured of TB Shirikisho Dispensary offers comprehensive care for patients was not left behind in marking this day.
