The Healing Hands of Mercy
In a world where many people continue to struggle with poverty, loneliness,
illness, and hunger, the Church remains a beacon of hope. Through acts of mercy
and compassion, Christians are called to reaching out to those who are most
vulnerable. Charity is a living expression of God's love for humanity.
Inspired by the spirituality of the CMM Brothers, OIP believes that every
person deserves to be treated with dignity, love and compassion. Our mission
goes beyond providing services; it is about restoring hope, strengthening
families, and reminding people that they are valued by God and by society.
OIP is not just an organization. It is a unity of well-wishers,
volunteers, donors, healthcare workers, community members, and friends who
share one common purpose—to respond to the needs of those who suffer. Together,
they form a compassionate community that believes lasting change begins when
people choose to care for one another.
Every week, hundreds of people visit OIP seeking medical care, food
support, counselling, spiritual encouragement, and social assistance. At the
same time, dedicated Home-Based Care teams travel into villages and homes to
reach those who are unable to come to the facility because of illness,
disability, old age, or extreme poverty. These home visits bring much more than
medicine and food; they bring friendship, comfort, prayer, and the reassuring
presence of people who genuinely care.
As we continue this journey of mercy, we invite everyone to become part
of this mission. Whether through prayer, volunteering, sharing resources, or
simply showing kindness to a neighbor, each person has something valuable to
offer. Together, united in faith and compassion, we can build communities where
every person experiences the love of Christ and where no one is left behind.
For mercy grows whenever love is shared, and hope is restored whenever
hearts choose to serve.
